Daily Walk

This is not my first "daily" walk;  nor is the walk daily.  I've just set it as my target.  I tend to walk up to the Quay, or the sea wall (perhaps it's more of a river bank!)

I took this photo a few days previously. These two birds were hard to identify.  Eventually, we decided on winter plumage great crested grebes.  Typical of a photo I might take.    

Today there weren't many birds around and the weather was cold, windy and threatening.  I thought this picture captured the mood:  

So then I went home.
